The Puppet Show

Oh the HORROR!!!! So far this show has delivered vampires, possessed teens, witches and killer robots but nothing compares to the terror of the HIGH SCHOOL TALENT SHOW ....... Oh the HUMANITY!

and what better way to replace the beloved wacky principle who is a goof ball with all the corny teacher lines than with as Xander puts it "The NEW Fuhrer!" a hard nosed principle who believes "KIDS NEED DISCIPLINE!" and He doesn't like Kids! I am really believing that Whedon and the writers did not like school and this show is their revenge!


where did I see this plot point before? creepy ventriloquist dummy with a life of their own? Well for those who are familiar with the Batman universe they would be well aware of a villain called Scarface!


Arnold Wesker is a washed up ventriloquist who has a multiple personality disorder who leads a gang of mobsters run by his Dummy Scarface (gotta check out Batman the Animated Series episode "Read my lips!"). But there is a twist as I'm not sure that DC Comics would be overly happy with them "borrowing" a villain from the batman universe. And I must say a clever twist at that.

Funny ending, as the old saying goes, stick to your day job! (Willow running away is classic!)

Nightmare

I'm a little confused, I'm under the impression that Buffy has not met "The Master" yet but her nightmare showed her petrified of facing off with him and unable to kill him? Also this has brought up one of the worlds biggest mysteries "Why do people mistake spiders for insects, they are arachnids?" when will we learn? I know it bugs Peter Parker all the time! (no pun intended)

Now out of all the nightmares that have been coming true, to be told by a parent that you are the reason that they divorced and that they were disappointed with them is one of the worst things that could happen and is the nightmare of every child of a broken family. Clever writing, the other nightmares are cliche at best (turning up in front of class only in your underwear, please! Willow is a hoot though and she looks good in a Kimono.)

Nice Wizard of OZ reference when Billy wakes up.

And will the whole Willow loves Xander but can't see it because he loves Buffy but she can't see it thread end, Please!!!!
